You may be familiar with the Alderian concept of Life Style Analysis, a process by which individuals uncover their assumptions and convictions and learn how those influence they ways in they interpret and control experiences through their goals and behaviors. In a similar way, Organizational Life Style Analysis can assist in explaining an organization’s actions.
The information collected can be used to help ensure an organization is most effectively using its resources to achieve its desired mission. Dr. Premo’s presentation will show you how to use information from a variety of sources (e.g. company brochures, annual reports) in order to:
- Understand the direction of the company’s movement pattern
- Recognize themes and convictions the provide “defining statements” for the company
- Determine if the company is operating in or out of alignment with their goals and values
- Uncovering both strengths and weaknesses of the company
- Uncover the deeper organizational ideals and convictions that represent an undercurrent of expectations of the members
Dr. Premo focuses on improved organizational effectiveness, the achievement of specific and measurable goals, and leadership skill development to enhance productivity, retention, morale, and profitability. He has provided organization development assessment and training programs to organizations such as Rockwell International, American Express, Motorola, Dupont, Medtronic, and IBM. He has specialized in coaching senior executives, assessing organizational problems and instituting corrective interventions related to teams, individuals, and the overall organization.
