Organization Development Network of Western New York (ODN of WNY)

April 2016 Meeting Announcement

How to Supercharge Your Improvement  Initiatives by Ensuring Top to Bottom Alignment

John Hogg

  • When: Thursday March 10, 2016 from 8:30 am to 11:30 am (8:30 am to 9:00 am – networking; 9:00 am to 11:30 am – meeting)
  • Where: Canisius Center for Professional Development 300 Corporate Parkway, Suite 130, Amherst, NY 14226

Program Description

  • Are you frustrated that your improvement initiatives don’t seem to have any sustainable momentum?
  • Struggling to get involvement from your workforce?
  • Are your people “burned out” from one more ‘flavor of the day?’ approach to improvement?

With roots in the supply chain, but applicable to almost every type of process and organization, this approach provides a direct linkage between the strategic objectives of an organization and its improvement projects.

It will challenge you to think differently about your organization, and how you align your workforce. This methodology provides you and your leadership team a proven best practice to drive your continuous improvement efforts.

Benefits to attendees:

  1. Attendees will learn new ways of aligning resources to strategy.
  2. They will be challenged to think about what is really important to their customers, and consider different ways to execute their processes and measure the process performance.
  3. Most importantly, they will learn how to make process improvement a sustainable competitive advantage.
