Meeting Overview:

Holly Droney will share her recent change management experiences with the First Niagara and Key Bank merger. Mergers present many change management challenges to organization. She will lead a discussion of key merger activities with a focus on integration and engagement.

  1. What are the first steps in integrating 5,000 workers of an established organization with another?
  2. How do you overcome different jobs, structures and culture?
  3. What can you do to keep employees engaged in their work, despite the fear and uncertainty associated with mergers?


About the presenter

Holly Droney is a member of the integration team that leads top leaders on both sides of the merger between First Niagara and Key Bank. The team is working on organization design, talent assessment, job mapping, change communication and integration of HR business practices.
Holly has more than 20 years of HR leadership experience in multiple industries, and has been with First Niagara for over 4 years. She has a Bachelor degree in Social Work from Daemen College as well as her SPHR and SCP certifications.
